Eyewitnesses said that on Friday, a boy drowned while bathing in the Jhelum river near Sivapora area of Srinagar.
Eyewitnesses told the news agency-Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that three boys were bathing in Jhelum when one of them drowned.
Soon after the incident, the locals reached the spot and also appealed to the authorities to save the boy.
An official said that rescue team will be sent to the area for rescue operations (KNO)
