Anantnag Police attacked property of notorious drug pedal of Rs 25.35 lakh under NDPS Act

Anantnag, 27 June: In his continuous action on drug trafficking and in his continuous action in pursuance of drug offenses, Anantnag Police attached the immovable property of a notorious drug pedal under Section 68-F (1) of the NDPS Act, 1985.

The attached property is located in Bangidar, Mir Dentor, Anantnag, who belongs to Parviz Ahmed Fashu, son of Abdul Rashid Fashu, a resident of Bot Colony, Khanball. He is a habitual criminal and has been found involved in several cases registered under the NDPS Act:

Illegal acquired assets were identified and attached to a single-storey concrete residential house, and 07 Marlus measuring land, ₹ 25,35,882/-with an estimated market price.

The property was identified during the investigation as illegal drug was raised from the income of intoxicants. After the appropriate legal process, the Attachment Order has been sent to the competent authority to confirm under the provisions of the NDPS Act.

This action is part of the continuous campaign of District Police Anantnag against drug pedallers and its purpose is to deprive them of the economic benefits of illegal trade. The district police reiterated their unwavering commitment to end the drug threat and protect the youth and society from its harmful effects.
