Srinagar police detained two to paste foreign flags in Balhama

The Srinagar Police has detained two persons in a clear effort to harass public peace and order during the night hours to paste foreign flags in Balhama region.

A police spokesman said that while working on reliable input, including visual evidence indicating the establishment of the flag of the United States and Israel, the Srinagar Police started a quick investigation using various techniques and ground -level verification.

During the investigation, 6-7 suspects were identified and questioned. Continuous interrogation confirmed the participation of three persons.

The accused have been identified: Mohsin Ali Giving, S/O Ali Mohammad, R/O Balhama, Bilal Ahmed Give, S/O Mohammad Yusuf Giv, R/O Mohalla, Balhama Amir Ali, S/O Manzoor Hussain, R/O Khazir Mohalla, Balhama,

Two of the accused have been detained, while strong efforts are underway to catch the third.

The Act is being seen as a deliberate attempt to incite public sentiment, harass communal harmony and promote anti -social stories. Legal action has been initiated under the relevant provisions of the law.
