Mehbooba Mufti creates concern over the alleged forcible labor and vehicle needs in Mufti Manzgam

Srinagar, June 21, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) President and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Mehboba Mufti has called for an immediate investigation into serious allegations of human rights violations in Manzam, Kulgam district. This village holds significant religious significance for the local community, the revered temple of Baba Kayam Deen and the house of the temple of Ragania Devi.

In a statement posted on X on 20 June 2025. Mufti highlighted the increasing concerns about the establishment of an army camp in Manzgam since May 2025. He has taken rapid action to ensure that the religious and cultural sanctity of the manzagam is respected and the rights of its residents are protected.
