Operation Sindhu: Flights carrying 110 Indian citizens were taken out of the land of Iran in Delhi, students thanked the Indian government

Between the conflict between Israeli and Iran, the flight carrying 110 Indian citizens was taken out of Iran, which landed in Delhi under Operation Sindhu. Students who came out of Iran’s Uria thanked the Government of India.

An empty student said that Indian officials did a good job and all the students are being vacated. He said that the situation in Iran, especially in Tehran, is deteriorating day by day.

The student told reporters, “Day -day situation is deteriorating … The situation in Tehran is particularly bad. Indian students are being evacuated from there. We are from Urmia University. Indian officials are doing a good work. All students are being vacated and being taken to a safe place,” the student told reporters.

He said, “We were expelled from our university and taken to Armenia, after which we were taken to Qatar. From Qatar, we reached India,” he said.

Ghazal, a student from Iran, told Annie, “We are all very happy that we returned home and the Indian embassy vacated us properly. We are very grateful to them … The situation in Urmia, where we lived, were much better than Tehran.”

Recalling the magnitude of the struggle, Yasir Ghaffer, an India derived from an India, Iran said that he saw the missiles passing and the loud voice at night.

“We saw that by going through missiles and loudly feeling that I am happy to reach India … I did not leave my dreams … When the situation improves, we will return to Iran …” he said.

A student, Maryam Rose said that the Indian embassy prepared for everything and did not face any issue.

“The Indian Embassy had already prepared everything for us. We have not had to face any issue. We have been traveling for three days, so we are tired … When we left, the situation in Urmia was not so bad. We will see missiles from our Derm windows.”

Another student said, “I am a final year MBBS student at Urmia University … We saw drones and missiles. We were scared … We are happy to return to India and are very grateful to the Government of India, especially the Ministry of External Affairs … Our parents were also worried, but now they are happy.”

Student Aman Azhar criticized the war and said that children are suffering.

“I am very happy. I can’t express in words how happy I am able to meet my family. The situation in Iran is very bad. The people there are like us; there are small children who are suffering. The war is not a good thing. The war is not a good thing. It kills humanity …” He told Annie.

The parents of the vacant students also rejoiced and thanked the Government of India.

The mother of a student fired from Iran said, “I am very happy that my daughter has returned home. I want everyone to come back. The Government of India has managed everything so well that our children have not faced any problem anywhere …”

Talking to ANI, the father of an empty student said, “My son is returning through Armenia on a special aircraft sent from India. My son was doing MBBS in Iran. I have come to receive him from Kota, Rajasthan. I am glad that my son is returning home … India’s government has made good efforts.”

He urged the government to help the students trapped in Tehran. He said that his son was in the border area, so he has been able to make it, but the people trapped in Tehran are not able to escape the struggle.

“I urge the government to help the students trapped in Tehran. My son was in the border area, and things were not so stressful there, and only the people living in the border areas are able to exclude it from the country. People trapped in the interior of the country are not able to reach here.

The Government of India has started Operation Indus to vacate Indian citizens from Iran as a result of the ongoing struggle between Iran and Israel.

In a post on X, MEA spokesman Randhir Jaiswal wrote, “India launched Operation Sindhu to vacate Indian citizens from Iran. India vacated 110 students from North Iran, who were in Armenia on 17 June under the supervision of our missions in Iran and Armenia. For the safety and safety of their citizens abroad.”
