G7 Canada: Pahalgam terror attack attack on the entire humanity, PM Modi says

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a G7 outreach session, where he called upon countries to strengthen the fight against terrorism and not only attacked the Pahgam terror attack, but also the entire humanity, the Ministry of External Affairs mentioned in an official statement.

He commented on the theme ‘Energy Security: Diversification, Technology and Infrastructure while addressing the G7 Outreach session to ensure access and strength in a changing world,’

According to Mea, PM Modi called upon countries to strengthen the global fight against terrorism, emphasizing security challenges. Thanking India to the global community for their strong support in their fight against terrorism, he expressed that the Pahgam terror attack was not an attack on India but the entire humanity.

“Terrorism is an enemy of humanity. It is against all countries that maintain democratic values”, he said.

He called for strict action against countries that support and promote terrorism and said that there should be no double standards in dealing with terrorism and those who support terrorism should never be rewarded.

PM Modi said, “On one hand, we are in a hurry to implement all kinds of restrictions based on our preferences. On the other hand, countries that openly support terrorism are rewarded,” PM Modi said.

Calling terrorism a serious threat to humanity, PM Modi pushed forward three pressure questions for the international community-
-Does countries understand the serious threat arising from terrorism only when they become a goal?
-We can be equal to the terrorists and criminals of their victims?

-Will global institutions be audience for terrorism?

According to Mea’s statement, PM Modi expressed that uncertainty and struggles in different parts of the world had a weak impact on the global South countries, and India took it as their responsibility to create the voice of the global South on the world stage. He underlined that it was important to understand the priorities and concerns of the global South for the world if the international community was serious about a permanent future.
