ACB files dissatisfy the property case against the Govt employee in Banihal

Jammu and Anti -Kashmir Bureau of Corruption Bureau has filed an uneven assets case against a government employee in Banihal area of ​​Ramban district.

According to a statement issued to the news agency -Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the case has been filed against Nazir Ahmed Wani, a retired Tishil Supply Officer for prevention of corruption act under FIR Number 02/2025 U/S 13 (1) (B), R/W 13 (2).

The statement stated that the case was launched after a secret verification made by the ACB in those allegations that the officer acquired the property, incompatible for known sources of income during their service tenure.

“Verification suggests that the accused has collected sufficiently movable and immovable property in his name and in the name of his family members. It has been revealed that the accused has deposited important property including a residential house including a residential house, including a residential house in Gajjar Nagar, Jammu, Maitra Ramban, including a residential complex, a residential complex with 3 shops, Banhal, vehicle,”.

It said that during the investigation, ACB received a search warrant from the court of Special Judge Anti-Corruption, Doda and Khoj were held in the presence of magistrates and independent witnesses in the residential complex located in the old National High Way Road Charle, Banihal, while further investigation is going on- (KNO) (KNO)
