Srinagar, May 29: In a significant success, the police in Kulgam arrested a female drug pedaler and recovered sufficient amounts of contribution from her possession.
A police spokesman said that a police party at a police station Kimoh at a checkpoint installed in Sofigund noticed that a woman tried to escape from the spot. The alert police party immediately caught him. During the search, 07 grams of brown sugar, 2 kg of poppy seeds and cash amount ₹ 10,000/- were recovered from its occupation related to drug income. Lady Drug Paler (Name Back), wife of Manto Hussain, resident of Malda Calcutta A/P Sofigund, has been arrested and transferred to the police station where he is in custody.
Accordingly, a case video FIR No. 37/2025 has been registered at Police Station Caimoh under the relevant sections of the law and the investigation has been started, he said.
