Jammu, May 29: Second Civil Defense Mock Drill, “Operation Shield”, which was earlier scheduled for 29 May and was to be postponed for administrative reasons, will now be held on 31 May.
This exercise will be held in all western states and all western states and center areas with Pakistan, including Jammu, Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat.
Conducted by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Drill will test preparations against enemy attacks through mock mock air raids, drone hazards, blackout measures and withdrawal exercises.
Civil defense volunteers, local authorities and youth organizations such as NCC and NSS will participate in the operation, which will begin at 5 pm. (KDC)
