India revolted on the Indus Water Treaty in UNSC to disintegrate Pakistan

India, a firm and uneven statement at the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), accused Pakistan of spreading disintegration on the Indus Water Treaty and also reiterated its commitment to the water management responsible even amidst cross -border terrorism.

While making a statement at the Araria Formula meeting on “Protecting Water in Armed Conflict – Protecting Civil Life”, India’s permanent representative United Nations Parvathani Harish strongly denied Pakistan’s claims about the Indus Water Treaty.

Harish highlighted the violation of the spirit of the treaty through his support to Pari terrorism and through the support of its obstructionist approach to amending the treaty.

Harish confirmed that India has always acted responsibly as an upper ripper state and accused Pakistan of distorted facts. “India entered the Indus Water Treaty in harmony 65 years ago,” he said, recalling that the agreement was signed in a sense of goodwill and friendship.

He said that Pakistan has violated the spirit of the treaty by inciting three wars on India and thousands of terrorist attacks, resulting in more than 20,000 Indian lives in the last four decades.

“Pakistan has violated the spirit of the treaty by provoking three wars on India and thousands of terrorist attacks. In the last four decades, more than 20,000 Indian lives have been lost in terrorist attacks, the most recently there was a deaf terrorist attack for tourist tourists once again in Pahalgam. Citizens, religious harmony and economic prosperity were made hostage,” said he said.

He said that the state-proposed terrorism of Pakistan threatens civil life, religious harmony and economic prosperity.

He emphasized that significant changes have taken place in the last 65 years, including increasing safety concerns, increasing requirements for clean energy, climate change and demographic changes.

“In these 65 years, far -reaching fundamental changes have not only occurred in terms of increasing security concerns through cross -border terror attacks, but also increasing the increasing requirements for the production of clean energy, climate change and demographic change. Technology for the infrastructure of the dam has changed to ensure the safety and efficiency of operation and water use. Some old dams are facing serious security concerns.”

“Some old dams face serious security concerns,” said, terrorists also attacked the Tulbal Navigation Project in Jammu and Kashmir in 2012.

Permanent representative at the United Nations said, “In fact, in 2012, the terrorists also attacked the Tulbal Navigation Project in Jammu and Kashmir. These condemn works threatened our projects and safety of the lives of citizens.”

Harish said that India has formally asked Pakistan to discuss the amendments to the treaty, but Pakistan has continued any amendment of any changes and provisions in this infrastructure which is allowed under the treaty.

He said, “Against this background, India has finally announced that the treaty will be up to Pakistan- a global subscriber of terror reliably and irreversible ends its support for cross-border terrorism,” he said.

India has formally asked Pakistan to discuss the amendments of the treaty on several occasions in the last two years. However, Pakistan continues to reject them and Pakistan’s inhibitory approach to prevent the practice of complete use of valid rights by India continues.
