Anantnag, May 23: Mattan has attached immovable property related to a notorious drug pedal under the provisions of Section 68-F of NDPS Act, 1985, while continuing drug smuggling against NDPS Act, 1985.
The attached assets include a double-storey residential house with attic and land, with 32 Marlus located in Gund Bagh Ser Hamdan, Matan, which is owned by Zubair Ramadan Gani S/O Mohd Ramadan Gani R/O Gund Bagh Ser Hamdan.
The said person includes FIR number 04/2024 U/S8/20, 29 NDPS Act and 48 Excise Act, which is registered at Police Station Mattan.
The property was illegally acquired during an investigation and investigation conducted by police station Mattan. The prima facial was established that the property was picked up through the income of illegal smuggling in drugs and psychotropic substances.
Zubair Ramadan Ghani is currently registered in District Jail Bhadarwah, Jammu under preventive custody as per the provisions of the Pit-NDPS Act.
