Judge Mark Lucraft Casey had told the first gamblers that from now on, Gordon was going to represent himself after his barrister was removed from the case.

Taking the witness to the stand, Gordon convicted the police’s decision to launch a manhint for their discovery, saying: “If it was naturally played, I believe that the child will still live 100 percent today, because we would have finally done the right thing.”

He said that he and Marten were already in a “intimidated state”, who used to accuse private investigators of leaving him behind, and they felt that they were “being harassed by various forces and this affected our brain”.

Gordon told the gamblers, “We were a little deranged. We were away from our heads.”

The couple was earlier traveling in the country living in AirBNBS and hotels, and said that they were “roaming around and not hidden” before the manhunt.

Pointing to the gamblers, he said that police officers should have evaluated a risk and realized that he and his wife were “nervous” and “fear”.

He said, “Who ordered to do a national manhint, we were not in the right position,” he said.

She continued: “If you have a woman who has just given birth to a child … then why should she chase them when it was delicate? If that manhunt had not started, things would not have happened.

“Two parents who love their child to chase. We did not want the child to harm.

“It was a chase chase of events. We were not in the state of mind where a sound decision could be made.”

Referring to his wife, Gordon said: “In relation to my beautiful elite wife, who is nothing more than a passionate, strong person, is kind and wonderful to me and nothing else and the best thing that has ever happened to me in my life.”

Despite her and Marten’s attraction and love for each other, he said that their relationship came up with challenges and that “forces” did not agree with his match and faced difficulties for him.

He said, “This court is sitting in a dock in this court, in which 12 gamblers have decided our luck.”
