The opposition and leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Sunil Sharma on Tuesday visited the border areas for the fourth straight day to assess the damage in the shells of Pakistan.
According to the news agency-Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Sharma was with many party leaders and MLAs in which Sham Lal Sharma, Dr. Narinder Singh and others were involved.
He visited Geeta Bhavan and Gurdwara Sahib in Poonch Town to assess the damage caused by Pakistani shelling.
The leaders interacted with the local residents, reviewed the situation, and assured coordinated relief and rehabilitation efforts in collaboration with the local authorities.
In particular, Sharma held a meeting with the residents of Poonach late on Monday night.
After hearing his concerns, Sharma assured him of quick support and necessary supply.
“Narendra Modi government is committed to ensuring safety, security and development of border communities, focusing on the increase in infrastructure and continuous relief efforts,” he said- (KNO)
