New Delhi:

McLaren Automotive, a global leader in high-performance supercars, has reached a milestone of 50 McLaren supercars in India. To mark this achievement, the brand hosted a celebration drive in Rajasthan.

The special drive, which began in Udaipur and passed through Mount Abu, featured 11 McLaren owners driving their cars through some of the most picturesque and historic locations in the region. The event kicked off from the iconic Manak Chowk, with Dr Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, a member of the former royal family of Mewar, flagging off the drive.

The highlight? Madhuri Dixit, best known for her iconic roles in films like Dil To Pagal Hai, Devdas and Beta among others, also participated in the event. She drove her McLaren 750, priced at approximately Rs 5.91 crore (ex-showroom), with the on-road price going up to Rs 6.79 crore.

Speaking about the drive, the actress said, “I’m feeling so good, it’s such a beautiful morning here, and the temperatures are also great. It’s quite cold, and I’m really enjoying it. And of course, this drive that’s going to happen today, it’s my first time doing it, and I think it’s going to be very exciting. The roads, streets, and palaces of Udaipur are just wonderful. I’m going to enjoy myself here.”

The drive also featured a variety of McLaren’s iconic models, including the 720S, GT, Artura and the rare 750S 60th Anniversary Edition, which was produced in a limited run of just sixty units.

Lalit Chaudhary, Principal Dealer of McLaren Mumbai, expressed excitement about celebrating the milestone of over 50 McLaren cars in India. He stated, “This milestone reflects the growing passion and enthusiasm for the brand. It is a testament to our customers’ trust and excitement in McLaren’s unparalleled engineering and design. We have built a vibrant community of supercar enthusiasts across the country, and we look forward to continuing this journey. We are confident that 2025 will be another strong year for McLaren in India, and we eagerly anticipate new opportunities to elevate the supercar experience for our customers.”
