A McDonald's customer shot a fellow diner in the US with missing sauce

Akhla was arrested on April 16th and faces aggravated battery and burglary charges.

A Florida man allegedly resorted to violence at a McDonald’s in Zephyrhills over a missing sauce packet. According to an affidavit obtained by Fox 35, 48-year-old Wesley Bullock became angry and verbally abusive to a drive-thru worker because his order lacked the desired seasoning. A passerby intervened and tried to calm the bull down, but matters escalated when the bull allegedly grabbed the man by the throat and punched him. A McDonald’s worker then intervened to break up the altercation. The situation did not end there.

As the victim drove to a speedway gas station, Bull cut him off, exited his vehicle and pointed a handgun at the victim’s forehead and pulled the trigger. The gun did not fire, the affidavit states, but the bull proceeded to use the weapon to strike the man in the head.

Bull then allegedly retrieved the gun or took off the safety and aimed at the victim.

The affidavit details the shocking turn of events. The victim, fearing for his life after the bull allegedly grabbed the gun, said he wrestled to gain control of the weapon. He managed to disarm the bull, get the gun in his car and flee the scene while calling the police. The victim suffered injuries during the struggle, including a gunshot wound to the head, bite marks and a possible gunshot wound to her pinky finger. Surveillance footage corroborates the victim’s account.

Akhla was arrested on April 16th and faces aggravated battery and burglary charges. He is currently being held in the Pasco County Jail on a $400,000 bond. The random incident adds to the growing trend of violence at McDonald’s locations.

In an unrelated case from August 2022, a customer allegedly shot a worker at Cold Fries at a Brooklyn branch.
