New Delhi:
After creating controversy over a fish meal video during Navratri, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav is back with a new helicopter footage showing him eating it with a close aide orange.
Hello everyone,
There was an orange party on a helicopter today.
Doesn’t orange make him angry? #TejashwiYadav#popular#viralpic.twitter.com/FlhuyMhM6f— Tejashwi Yadav (@yadavtejashwi) April 10, 2024
“Hello friends, there is an orange party on the helicopter today, they won’t be offended by the color orange, right?” posted the RJD leader last night. Orange is associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party, one of the main rivals of Lalu Prasad Yadav-led Janata Party.
Lalu Yadav’s son Tejashwi Yadav, accompanied by former minister Mukesh Sahni, took part in the tense campaign in a helicopter.

“We are eating oranges today. The PPP will also have a problem with this. They will also find a religious angle in this. Shouldn’t we eat or drink it? They say it is ours Bhagwa Color, bhai, it is not only yours but also ours. If it is an edible item, we will eat it,” Mr Sani said in the video.
Tejashwi Yadav added that the oranges were given to them by the public.
The pair were criticized yesterday for a similar video showing them enjoying a fish meal on a helicopter. Some internet users accused them of inciting sentiments among Hindus during the Navratri festival, during which devotees follow a strict vegetarian diet.
Firebrand BJP leader and Bihar MP Giriraj Singh called Yadav a “seasonal Sanatani” and accused the party of pursuing appeasement politics.
Hours later, Yadav fired back, pointing out that his fishmeal post was dated Monday, April 8, while Navratri started on Tuesday.
Mr Yadav said: “We uploaded this video to test the IQ of followers of the BJP and Godi media and it turned out that our idea was correct. The tweet read ‘Dinank’ i.e. the date but these What do the poor blind followers know.”
