Sunak mistook woman’s name for Welsh Valley in LBC call gaffe

By | Published | No Comments

Rishi Sunak made an embarrassing gaffe during an LBC live phone interview on Wednesday morning (April 10), confusing a caller’s name with Wales Valley.

The Prime Minister had to be corrected by host Nick Ferrari after referring to Louise of Rhondda as “Rhonda”.

“Good morning Nick, good morning Prime Minister,” the caller said after being introduced.

“Hi Rhonda,” Mr Sunak replied.

The Prime Minister quickly apologized after Ferrari pointed out his embarrassing mistake.

“Sorry Louise, I missed it. Hello Louise.”
