Anil Antony, son of Congress veteran AK Antony, is contesting as a BJP candidate in Kerala.

Congress party veteran A K Antony today said his son Anil K Antony, who is contesting from the Pathanamthitta Lok Sabha seat in Kerala as a BJP candidate, should lose the election.
Addressing a press conference, AK Antony hoped that his son “should lose and his rival Antoine Antony, the Congress candidate from the southern constituency of Kerala, should win”.
He also termed it “wrong” for children of Congress leaders to join the BJP.
“Congress is my religion,” AK Antony said in response to multiple queries about his son’s political views and decision to join the BJP.
