Oprah Winfrey casually recalls the epic gift she gave Stevie Wonder 20 years ago

Oprah Winfrey gave Stevie Wonder a Mercedes Baybach on her 50th birthday two decades ago. Thanks for her performance.

The 70-year-old TV personality shared a clip from last week on her official daily update Instagram page, Oprah Daily Jimmy Kimmel Live! show, addressing false rumors that it was a Rolls-Royce.

The host asked Oprah: “Did you really give Stevie Wonder a Rolls-Royce as a thank you for performing Happy Birthday on your 50th birthday?”

“I thought it was a Maybach or something. Is it the same?” Oprah nonchalantly corrected Jimmy to laughter from the audience.

He laughed with them and said, no, this is a different thing, but this is something else. ”

Jimmy was still in disbelief and confirmed again: “Did you give him that car?”

“He said he wanted it,” said Oprah, who shrugged and looked almost bewildered by everyone’s disbelief.

“He said he wanted it,” she reiterated, to which Kimmel noted, “He was probably kidding.”

Oprah continued, “He said he wanted it, and I was like, ‘Can you drive it?'”

She then revealed that the legendary musician even sent her a video of him driving the car.
