Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor caught in an awkward moment.

Kareena Kapoor almost met her Udta Punjab co-star and ex-boyfriend Shahid Kapoor at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Awards in Mumbai last night. It so happened that both the stars attended the awards night on Tuesday and came face to face on the red carpet. In a clip from the Dadasaheb Phalke event, Shahid was seen standing on the red carpet with filmmakers Raj and DK as Kareena Kapoor passed by them. The actress, dressed in a gorgeous golden ensemble, was seen talking to her partner for a while while Shahid smiled awkwardly.
Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor met on the sets of Fida in 2004 and started dating. The two dated each other till 2007 and separated during the shooting of the superhit film Jab We Met. Both have acted in many films Chup Chup Ke, 36 China Town, Milenge Milenge among others. They also starred together in Udta Punjab In 2016, several years after their breakup. However, the two did not have any scenes together in the film.
Last year, during the promotion of his film Bloody Daddy, Shahid Kapoor was asked to name something that he would like to steal or assimilate. Kareena Kapoor, “He had superstar quality right from his first film, that’s what was special about him,” the actor said.
On the personal front, after dating for over five years, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan got married in 2012 and welcomed their sons Taimur in 2016 and Jeh in 2021. Shahid Kapoor is married to Mira Rajput, with whom he has two children – daughter Misha and son Zain.
