Prices slashed on Ola S1 range of scooters, check variant list here

In a bid to boost the EV culture and achieve good sales, Ola Electric has slashed the price range of its S1 scooter range by Rs 25,000.

Interested customers can now purchase the S1 X (2kWh) at a starting price of Rs 79,999, S1 The new price of the top models S1 Air and Pro are Rs 1.40,000 and Rs 1.290000 respectively. Please note that all prices are ex-showroom.

As confirmed by the brand, the newly launched price range is only valid this month. That may not remain the same from March. Ola Electric offers are available from any authorized dealer or official website online.

Reacting in the same vein, an official from the company said, “At Ola, we are committed to #EndICEAge and breaking down all barriers to electric vehicle adoption and making electric vehicles cheaper and more accessible. To achieve this we With our mission to drive electric vehicle adoption across the country, we have launched unprecedented pricing across our S1 portfolio. With strong vertically integrated in-house technology and manufacturing capabilities, we are able to restructure costs and decide to pass on the benefits to our customers.”

Furthermore, a spokesperson said, “With prices comparable to leading ICE scooters, we believe customers have no reason to buy an ICE scooter now.”

Aura S1 Air

To provide a wide range of options in its product lineup, the company launched the S1 Air last year. It comes with a 3.0kWh battery pack. The electric scooter is positioned between the Pro and S1 X variants.

It is said that the car has a cruising range of 151 kilometers after a full charge and a top speed of 90 kilometers per hour. The brand claims that the model is capable of sprinting from 0 to 40 km/h in 3.3 seconds.
