Ayodhya will have 8 new flights from Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and other cities from February 1

Ever since Lord Ram performed Pran Pratishtha in Ayodhya, flight connections to the city have been increasing rapidly.

To further promote air connectivity, the Ministry of Civil Aviation will launch eight new SpiceJet routes to Ayodhya from February 1.

The new route will connect Ayodhya to Delhi, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Patna, Darbhanga, Mumbai and Bengaluru.

The flight service will be inaugurated by Union Minister of Civil Aviation and Steel Jyotiraditya Scindia and SpiceJet will operate on these routes as per the following schedule:

Recently, Ayodhya Airport has received about 100 charter flights, with many people flying to the city to attend the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple. About 8,000 people were invited to attend the consecration ceremony.

Captain RK Bali, President of the Business Aircraft Operators Association (BAOA) told the news agency: PTI On January 22, various individuals and entities booked 100 charter flights to Ayodhya, about 50 of which were business jets.

Last week, SpiceJet announced that it would operate a special flight from Delhi to Ayodhya on January 21, 2024, to cater to passengers attending the auspicious ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony at Shri Ram Temple on January 22. The airline also operated a return flight to Ayodhya on the same day. ensuring a seamless travel experience for devotees.
