prince harry and Meghan Markle debut sundance film festival exist Utah to promote their latest film project.
The couple attended a special screening and Premiere of their new documentary, cookie queenIt tells the story of four Girl Scouts growing up during cookie sales season. Harry, 41, and Meghan, 44, both serve as executive producers through their company Archewell Productions.
The two posed on the red carpet with others involved in the making of the documentary, as well as Amy Redford, the daughter of the late Sundance founder. what we used to be actor robert redford.
Meghan spoke from the podium at the Sundance Film Festival in support of the project, recalling her own experience growing up as a Girl Scout in California, where her mother, Doria Ragland, served as her troop leader.
“As a former Girl Scout with my mom as my troop leader, I have a personal affinity for this film,” she said.
“I’m so proud that all of our conversations and collaborations have led to Archewell Productions partnering with this award-winning team to execute this incredibly captivating documentary,” she continued. “When we first saw the early footage, we immediately wanted to be a part of it,” she continued.
She added: “The creative perspective, edgy yet human tone, and behind-the-scenes look at the tradition of Girl Scout Cookie Season is so nostalgic and modern that it’s absolutely irresistible.”
The documentary is directed by Alysa Nahmias and produced by Archewell Productions in partnership with Beautiful Stories and AJNA Films.
The pair founded Archewell Productions in 2020 and struck a deal with Netflix to distribute documentary projects including harry and meghanabout their relationship and the circumstances surrounding their departure from the royal family; undefeated spiritan inside look at Harry’s Veterans Foundation; and a lifestyle series With love, Megan.
