broadcasting giant ITV Will invest 3 million pounds body coach App, a popular fitness platform created by TV personalities and trainers Joe Wicks.
The strategic move, part of the broadcaster’s ITV AdVentures Invest fund, will see The Body Coach app gain significant advertising exposure across ITV’s TV channels and its streaming platform ITVX.
Wicks capitalized on his experience by launching the Body Coach app in late 2020 Gained widespread popularity during the initial Covid-19 lockdownwhere he earned the title of “National Physical Education Teacher.”
The platform offers a comprehensive set of workout and fitness plans, as well as personalized meal plans and daily progress tracking tools designed to keep users engaged and motivated.
TV advertising for the app will launch on ITV on January 1 and will air during the advertising breaks of Joe Wicks’ New Year’s Day special on ITV1 and ITVX.
Wicks will be on the show with guests including singers Olly Mooresdaughter of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay Tilly Ramsay TV chef and founder of Mowgli Street Food Nisha Katona.
Wicks said: “When I started training camps in the park 12 years ago, I never imagined The Body Coach would grow into a brand that reaches millions of people.

ITV Adventures Invest’s growing list of investments since launching in 2021 includes online estate agency Purplebricks and pet wellness company PitPat.
