Sultanpur (UP):
A 6-year-old child died on Tuesday and three other family members, ages 10 to 17, were being treated in hospital for food poisoning, officials said.
They said the four were students from Narayanpur village under Shivgarh police station area.
Officials said Abhipal (6), Himanshu (17), Sudhi (10) and Shivangi (11) were eating at home after returning from school He fell unconscious and was taken to a community health center, where Ashipal died during treatment.
Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr OP Chaudhary said Himanshu, Sudhi and Shivangi are undergoing treatment at Sultanpur Medical College.
A health team has been set up to ascertain the cause of the food poisoning, he added.
