Earlier this week, 24-year-old Indian student Chirag Antil was shot and killed in his car in South Vancouver, Canada.
this Vancouver Police Department (VCD) Chirag was allegedly found dead in a car in the area on April 12 after neighbors reported hearing gunshots.
Authorities said in a statement that the perpetrators had not yet been arrested and the investigation was ongoing.

- Chirag’s younger brother Ronit said in an interview that his brother was a “kind-hearted” person. “The last time I spoke to him before the accident happened,” he said, adding that Chirag sounded “happy”.
Meanwhile, Chirag’s family and National Students Union of India president Varun Choudhary have sought the Indian government’s intervention in the matter.
