A 32-year-old man in the United States shot and wounded a restaurant employee over the amount of guacamole, a type of guacamole.according to Fox2 DetroitThe incident happened at a Chipotle restaurant in Michigan on Friday. Aaron Brown, 32, was arrested and charged with assault causing serious bodily injury, discharging a firearm in a building and being a felon in possession of a firearm. He is being held in the Oakland County Jail on $20,000 bail.

It all started with Mr. Brown and his wife in a restaurant. He placed his order and paid, then asked for extra guacamole. A female member of staff offered him some dipping sauce, however, Mr Brown thought the portion was too small and called her an “ab****h”.

The female employee then became upset, so other employees removed her from the kitchen to calm her down, the outlet reported. That’s when the 32-year-old man allegedly walked behind the counter and began putting food into bags.

Behind the counter, Southfield Police Chief Elvin Barren said Mr. Brown filled a cup with guacamole. But when a 21-year-old employee saw this, he knocked the sauce out of Mr Brown’s hand. The 32-year-old man then grabbed the victim by the neck and slammed him into the refrigerator.

This resulted in a fight. When employees tried to get Mr. Brown to leave the restaurant, he pulled out a gun and shot the 21-year-old man in the knee.

“I had just finished my bowl when I heard someone shouting. Then I looked over and they were arguing. One of the workers came to the back, I don’t know why, and then while he was in the back, the customer came around the counter and tried to grab His food and put it in a bag,” witness Thomas Huber told the outlet.

“Then the employee came back and they started fighting and then we heard a gunshot and ran out as fast as we could,” he added.

The employee who was shot in the leg was taken to a local hospital and is in stable condition, police said. Mr Brown, on the other hand, calmly collected the food and fled the scene.

“He slowly ran away… probably about 30 seconds after (the shooting),” witness Michael Beals said. “I was in the car and I saw him walking up to the car. Shut the door and just drove away – he wasn’t speeding or anything, which seemed odd,” he added.

Police stopped Mr Brown a short distance away and arrested him. Michigan State Police did not reveal a motive for the shooting, but said it stemmed from a dispute over guacamole. Police Chief Ervin Barron stressed that the shooting was the result of poor decision-making and an inability to control emotions.
