Officials say that a person from Windsor has been arrested and accused in connection with an investigation into a one -month human trafficking.
Investigators first suspected 30 -year -old Jet Philips, as the police came to know about a victim in May 2025, who was allegedly smuggling through online advertisements.
The provincial police again started an investigation and identified another victim.
On 16 July, Philips was detained and accused with two offenses, including a count of three cases of purchase of a person to offer or offer sex services and to communicate with someone for the purpose of obtaining sexual services.
He is scheduled to appear in Ottawa Court on Monday, July 21, 2025.
