Three class 10 students stabbed their classmate after he refused to show them his answer sheet during a written examination in Bhiwandi town in Maharashtra’s Thane district, police said today.
They said the injured student was taken to a local hospital after the incident occurred after an inspection at a school on Tuesday.
“During the SSC examination, the victim refused to show the answer sheet to the accused student. The three students got angry over this and when he came out of the examination hall, they grabbed him and beat him up. They also called a police officer Said: “He was stabbed and suffered injuries as a result and was hospitalized. “
He said he was later discharged from the hospital.
A case was registered against the three minor accused at Shanti Nagar police station in Bhiwandi under Section 324 (intentionally causing hurt by dangerous weapon or means) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
