3 houses were damaged, 3 firefighters were injured in large fire in Budgam village

Officials said three residential houses were damaged and several firefighters were injured when large scale came out in Surasar area of Chadura in Budgam district, the officials said.

An official told the news agency -Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the fire initially started from one of the residential houses and quickly spread to two adjacent houses.

He said that the fire caused widespread damage to three residential houses, while three firefightings were also injured in the accident. “The injured personnel have been admitted to a hospital for treatment,” he said.

The official said the cause of the fire is being ascertained.

Meanwhile, the local people urged the administration to provide assistance to the families as they are financially weak (KNO)
