3 Dead, 2 Critical after two-vehicle accident in pickering

Three people have been killed and two people are in the hospital, with a deadly injuries after an accident involving two SUVs in pill.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Toronto troops and officials, along with other emergency employees, were called to an area of Highway 7 near Recruiting Road 6 around 7 pm on Tuesday.

Police say that an SUV collided with the head-on-on-on-side, which was traveling west on the highway.

Port Perry, an 82 -year -old resident of Onts, who was alone of the vehicle on the east, was declared dead on the spot.

In the SUV on the west, two out of four people were declared dead on the spot: a 63 -year -old from Markham and a 68 -year -old from Scarborough, who both were passengers in a vehicle.

A 64 -year -old Markham’s driver suffered significant injuries in the accident, as well as a 70 -year -old man from Richmond Hill, the third passenger of the same vehicle.

Circumstances reaching the accident are not yet known.

OPP investigation is on.
