27-year-old woman found stabbed to death at home in Westminster

A 27-year-old woman stabbed to death at her Westminster home has been named.

Kamonnan Thiamphanit, known as Angela to friends, was found dead after police forced their way into Stanhope Square near Hyde Park on Monday morning.

No arrests have been made so far and an autopsy on Wednesday found the cause of death was sharp force trauma.

Detective Chief Inspector Adam Clifton said: “My team continue to work tirelessly to piece together the events leading up to Carmonnan’s murder. I would like to thank local residents for their patience while we worked at the scene.

“I’m appealing to anyone who has information that could help us, no matter how trivial you think it is, to come forward and talk to us.

“Carmonan’s family and friends are devastated by this murder and we must ensure those responsible are held to account.”
