The provincial police arrested a person from a Niagara area in connection with the investigation of drug trafficking.
Officials say they seized about four kilograms of cocaine from a vehicle during a traffic stop at Queen Elizabeth Way (Qav) at Erin Mills Parkway in Mississaga.
The driver, 27 -year -old Rocco Laurenti, was charged in the possession of an illegal substance for the purpose of smuggling on Thursday.
He is scheduled to appear in Brampton Court on 25 July 2025.
Police say an investigation is on.
