The Center on Thursday awarded the Air Force Medal (Bravery) to 26 Indian Air Force officials and Airmen for his brave contribution to the service of the nation during Operation Sindoor.
Those who were awarded the Vayu Sena Medal (Bravery) participated in missions to hit the target inside Pakistan, and the authorities and men operated the S -400 and other air defense systems, which thwarted all the attacks planned by Pakistan on Indian earth.
Group captain (GP) Ankur Hakim, Manav Bhatia, Yasir Farooqui, World Bhoj, Anuraj Singh Minhas, Omar Brown, Deepak Chauhan, and Kunal Vishwas Shimpi have been awarded the Way Army Medal for their gallant tasks on the battlefield.
Wing Commander (WG CDR) who has been awarded the Vayu Army Medal: Joy Chandra Roopak Roy, Devendra Babasaheb Apped, Mayank Pallawal, Deepak Dogra, Ravinder Kumar, Adarsh Gupta, Abhay Gayan Gayan Bhadoria, and Amdeep Singh Dahot.
Squadron Leaders (SQN LDR) awarded the Yu Army Medal: Kaustubh Nalavade, Mihir Vivek Chaudhary, Rakesh Sharma, Malpati NV Naveen Kumar, Shuham Sharma, Aman Singh and Gaurav Khakher.
Flight Lieutenant (Flt Lt) has awarded a new Chandra with Sergeant (SGT), and CPL (CPL) Surendra Kumar with the Yu Army Medal.
In addition, 13 Indian Air Force officials were awarded the special Yudh Seva Medal for carrying out an important role in carrying out attacks and defending their own airspace. Officers include Air Vice Marshal Joseph Sures, AVM Prajuel Singh and Air Commodore Ashok Raj Thakur.
This Air Chief Marshal AP Singh said that India took at least five fighter jets from Pakistan during Operation Sindoor and dropped a large aircraft, which was taken about 300 km.
He said that the aircraft that was brought down “kills the largest recorded surface-to-one which we can talk about”.
The IAF chief, who gave the main speech in the 16th edition of the Air Chief Marshal LM Catre Memorial Lecture on Saturday, appreciated the successful completion of Operation Sindor, underlined the priority of air power in modern military conflicts and its importance in national security.
“We have confirmed at least five fighters Kill and a large aircraft, either an elector (electronic intelligence) aircraft or AEV & C (Airbourne Early Warning and Control) aircraft, which was taken at a distance of about 300 kilometers. It was actually the biggest record that we can talk.”
India launched Operation Sindor on 7 May on 7 April as a decisive military response to the Pahgam terror attack in which 26 people were killed. The Indian armed forces targeted the terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir, killing more than 100 terrorists.
India canceled later Pakistani vengeance and increased its airbase. (AI)
