India announced Pakistani official personality non -Greta, asked to leave within 24 hours

India on Wednesday declared a Pakistani official personality non -Gretta to engage in activities in accordance with their official status in the country and asked them to leave India within 24 hours.

“The Government of India has announced a Pakistani official, working at the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi, keeping in mind its official status in India, personality Non Greta. The officer has been asked to leave India within 24 hours,” read in a press release of the Ministry of External Affairs.

Personality is a formal announcement of rejection by the non -Greta host country. The host government requests the departure of the diplomat, effectively ends their diplomatic immunity. The host country is not obliged to provide a reason to a person to declare a non -adult.

According to Mea, a demonetisation was issued to the charge D’Farers of the Pakistan High Commission today.

“The officer has been asked to leave India within 24 hours. Pakistan High Commission Charge D’Fyers were issued a demonetisation for this effect today. They were strictly asked to ensure that no Pakistani diplomat or officials in India somehow misused their privileges and status.”
