Two minor brothers drowned after falling into a river while playing in Madhya Pradesh’s Tikamgarh district on Sunday, police said.

Arvind, in-charge of Jatala police station, said that the incident occurred near Lal village, about 30 kilometers from the district headquarters of Tikamgarh, when the two brothers, aged 5 and 8, were near the Ur river. playing while their parents worked in the fields. Singh Dangi.

He said after their parents could not find their children, they began searching for them when they found two bodies floating in the river.

Doctors at the Jatala Community Health Center declared the children dead, he said.
