13 -year -old Hamilton Girl sinks in the conservation area near Stratford

A Hamilton girl, who floated in the Wildwood Conservation Area, south of Stratford Onts, was later found to be deceased in water, Stratford Police Service said in a release on Monday.

The girl, who was visiting the area with the family, was reported to be missing before 7 pm on Sunday.

The emergency crew arrived in the Wildewood Conservation Area located in the 3995 line 9 in the Township of Perth South, and started searching for them.

About an hour later he was found in water.

“Efforts were made for a lifetime efforts, however, was unable to save the woman, and died as a result of drowning,” Stratford Police said.
