Montreal – A person who is in the list of top 25 in Canada, is in the list of fugitives for dating back in 2022 for murder and drug smuggling charges when police arrested him after returning to Canada.
The Quebec Provincial Police says that the officers of Sûreté du Québec Airport Unit, Mascouche Major Crime Investigation Division and the Canada Border Services Agency arrested Jonathan Olete-Gendron at Trudeau International Airport in Montreal on Saturday.
They say that Oulet-Gandron, who was first wanted by the police on a Canada-wide warrant, was arrested as he was returning to the country.
Since May 2022, a Saskatoon Police Service report says Oulet-Gandron was first sought by the police, which was identified as a suspect in a murder in 700 blocks of Melroz Avenue.
They were added to the program – A list of identifying the top 25 most desired fugitive in Canada – In May 2023, is ranked 10th.
Quebec police say Oulet-Gandron is expected to appear at the Montreal Courthouse on Sunday.
