“I think it comes from very difficult extreme right. I have very little doubt about it. They are Indian bots. To pay for anyone. I don’t know who it is.”
He denied that Mr. Yusuf left the party as a result of whether the burqa should be banned in Britain or not, saying: “No, not at all. And Zia thought we should focus on different priorities.”
But later he said that he feels that the “balance” burqa should be banned, saying: “But do I think it is a major political priority for my party?”
After the line about Ms. Pocin’s comment, a reform spokesperson clarified that it was not the party’s policy to ban Burkas, a distant call sparking to adopt Mr. Faraj’s proposals.
