Zelansky warns Russian drone danger protection at Chernobyl and Europe’s largest nuclear plant

Russia’s continuous bombing of Ukraine’s power grid is deepening concerns about the safety of nuclear facilities of the country, as the drone had knocked on power for more than three hours on the 1986 site for more than three hours. Chernobyl Officials said the nuclear disaster and Europe’s largest nuclear power plant has separated from the grid.

Both Chernobyl and Russian-Quiz Zaporizhia nuclear power plants are not working, but to avoid potential nuclear phenomena they require a constant power supply to run a significant cooling system for fuel rods.

A blackout radiation can also blind monitoring systems, established in Chernobyl to promote security and operate by the United Nations Nuclear Sentinel, International nuclear power agency,

“Russia is deliberately threatening the incidents of radiation,” Ukraine’s President Volodimier Zelanski said late Wednesday, criticizing the United Nations Watchdog and its chief Rafael Mariano Gosi, describing them as weak reactions for danger.

“Every day of Russia’s war, every strike on our energy facilities, including people associated with nuclear security, is a global threat,” he said. “Weak and half measures will not work. Strong action is required.”

More than three years ago, after the war after the all-out attack of Russia’s neighbor, no one appears close to the US-led peace efforts after the war.

Zelancesi said at his night video address that Russian launched more than 20 Shahd drones against the energy infrastructure in Slavutach, which is the city, whose power supply service is the world’s worst nuclear accident site.

A wave of drone overwhelmed the rescue and caused a blackout, said, he said, “affects the sarcoofagus that prevents the fourth reactor destroyed by the fourth reactor and storage residence that prevents avoiding fuel spent more than 3,000 tonnes. He did not give details of how it was affected.

“Russian could not be unaware that the strike on Slavutch would have such consequences for Chernobyl,” Zelancesi said.

Last February, a drone equipped with warhead hit Chernobyl’s protective outer shell, briefly started the fire. Officials said that the level of radiation did not increase.

Meanwhile, the Zaporizhia plant, which is one of the 10 largest nuclear features in the world, has been cut off from the grid for more than a week.

Zaporizhzhia is repeatedly caught in the crossfire during the war. Zelansky blamed the plant for cutting the power line, but the spokesperson of Kremlin Dimitri Peskov Said that it was Ukrainian shelling.

The feature is using emergency diesel generators to run cooling systems for its six shutdown reactors and fuel spent fuel.

IAEA says that the plant is not in immediate danger, but wants it to be rapidly connected to the grid.

The Institute for the Study of War, a Washington Think Tank, stated that the occupation of Russia’s Zaporizhjia has “reduced the safety of the plant to a large extent”.

On Wednesday, it was claimed that the Moscow wants to integrate the plant in the Russian grid – a step that would “increase security risks, reduce Ukraine’s future power generation capacity, and serve as a tool that Russia can use Ukraine to legalize its occupation.”
