Upon tapping the button, users are greeted with an overlay indicating that they are ‘jumping to a normally skipped section’, which is a feature exclusive to YouTube Premium members.

It was initially introduced as a small-scale experiment, but the feature has now gained wider visibility on the youtube.com/new experiment page. However, it is currently limited to the mobile client and is accessible through Settings > Try experimental new features. Additionally, it’s worth noting that this feature is only for the YouTube Android app and is only available for English videos in the US.
