YouSMARG is to be developed as the next Gulag: Speaker Legislative Assembly

Budgam, May 24: Speaker, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Abdul Rahim, rather today it is said that a special focus will be on developing the beautiful tourist destination Yusmarg as the next Gulmarg.

He made these comments, inaugurating a newly constructed Primary Health Center (PHC) in Nagbal, in the Gadra-e-Sharis constituency, at an estimated cost of Rs. 1.88 crores.

Highlighting the government’s vision, the speaker said that YSMARG would be equipped with all modern tourist facilities including a Gondola, all-visitor connectivity, skiing and other entertaining and basic features. He emphasized that this development of YouSMARG will rise considerably the socio-economic situations of the local population living in the Kandi region.

Speaking on the importance of the health sector, the speaker stated that the new inauguration will provide necessary medical services to the PHC Nagbal and the residents of the adjacent Kandi areas. He said that the building was completed at a cost of Rs. 1.53 crore, additional Rs. 35 million for construction of a border wall, landscaping and approach development of road.

The speaker said that PHC is equipped to offer ECG, dental care, gynecology service, separate male and female wards and minor operation theater facilities. He inspected various sections of the facility, including General Ward, Minor OT, Dental Unit, Vaccination Area and reviewed the availability of medicine in the pharmacy section.

He commented that the establishment of this health center reduced the need to travel long distances to the residents to take advantage of medical services in Srinagar or Charr-e-Shiis.

The speaker highlighted the approval of other PHC buildings throughout the constituency, including Kanir, Tulsara, Novpora, Hashru, Nilnag, Bonan, Wattalu, as well as the sub-district hospitals of Charor-e-Sirva, Pakherpora and Nagam.

He said, “PHC Challein Chhotnar and work on other health and educational projects will soon be dedicated and dedicated to the general public,” he said.
The speaker reiterated that, with the development of the overall infrastructure, there will be attention to improve health and education sectors, especially in the Ghar-e-Sharp.

The speaker said, “Under the aspirational plan for Surshar and Pakhrapora, additional funds will be used on the improvement of health and education sectors.”

He further assured that all pending development projects including McDamization of all the main and internal roads in Charor-e-Sharif will be completed on priority and will be dedicated to the public as soon as possible.

During the visit, several public delegations met the speaker and presented their demands and complaints. He gave him a hearing of a patient and assured that all real concerns would be taken with the concerned authorities for quick redressal.

Among others, Adc Budgam Mehraj-ruud-din shah, Ceo Yasmarg Development Authority Bilal Khurshid, SDM Chadora Primrose Bashir, CMO BUDGAM, DR GULZAR, Assistant Director Health, D. The gathering and other senior officials and officers were also present on the occasion.
