Nollywood actor and comedian, Ime Bishop Umoh better known as Okon Lagos has sent a powerful message to people who engage in electoral violence in the country in order to favour their preferred candidate.
There have been a series of bad reports across states on how political thugs have been rocking havoc on law-abiding citizens who stepped out to exercise their civic rights.
Weighing in on the ongoing electoral violence, Okon Lagos took a swipe at thugs and political godfathers who are in the realm of affairs sabotaging things thereby causing citizens to lose hope.
Tagging his post with “One day”, Okon Lagos told them the tables will turn against them soon and they will be at the receiving end of what they are dishing out.
He wrote: “If you are part of the person(s) or system that works overtime and tirelessly hard to make Nigerians continually loose faith in Nigeria… the unworkability of Nigeria is working for you today, I tell you this: One day, in not a distant time, tables will turn. You too will b at the receiving end of oppression”.
Okon Lagos advises Nigerians to ‘hire who they can fire’
Kemi Filani reported that Okon Lagos advised Nigerians to make the right decision during elections.
Okon Lagos who has publicly declared his support for the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Gregory Obi took to his Instagram page to advise Nigerians to hire who they can fire.
According to Okon Lagos, it is easier to fire Peter Obi if he doesn’t perform well; however, the other candidates under the Peoples Democratic Party and All Progressive Congress cant be fired. He urged everyone to be sensible in voting.
He wrote: “Nigerians Please HIRE who you can FIRE. It’s easier to fire OBI in the very unlikely event of bad performance. As for the other two, if dem enter, e Don be o! Another 8 wasted years of suffer like this one now!!! 25th is just here. Have sense!!!
“It is only a fool that will hire a person he can’t fire. You also cannot fire who you did not hire. please HAVE SENSE!!!”
