The trailer of Sidharth Malhotra’s film Yoddha has been released today and it is full of high-octane action, patriotic fervor and identity crisis. The trailer shows protagonist Arun (played by Sidharth Malhotra) aspiring to become an army officer like his father (played by Ronit Roy). Arun, who has always wanted to wear a soldier’s uniform, is reminded by his father that he has to earn it. Arun fulfills his ambition and becomes a soldier. His modus operandi is known as a warrior style that does not believe in negotiations with enemies. However, the fiery, brave army officer Arun has been suspended from service and is being branded a “traitor”. Meanwhile, a plane full of passengers is being hijacked. News channels reveal that an Indian officer may be the mastermind of this kidnapping. Is Arun a soldier or a traitor? Or is he just a pawn in a bigger game? We will have to wait for the answer until the film releases in theaters on March 15. Yodha’s release date has been postponed several times as it was initially scheduled to clash with Sriram Raghavan’s Merry Christmas. Directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, Yoddha is all set to release in theaters on March 15. The film also stars Disha Patani and is backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
