"yes i am dark": Former IND star brutally bans troll over racist attack

Former Indian cricket team player Laxman Sivaramakrishnan brutally banned a troll after he made racist comments on social media. Sivaramakrishnan posted a photo of himself at the Ayyappan temple in Mahalingapuram, Tamil Nadu, on X (formerly Twitter). The photo showed an elephant with the former cricketer and one user commented: “Hi sir, the elephant is more visible than you at night”. Sivaramakrishnan replied “Yes, I’m black” before adding “It’s a temple festival and you people are so cheap”. The user also posted more comments, which were later deleted.

Earlier, Sivaramakrishnan revealed that he was not happy with the way Indian cricket team veteran Ravichandran Ashwin treated him.

Sivaramakrishnan claimed on social media that Ashwin hung up on him and did not even reply to his congratulatory message on the 100th Test milestone.

“I tried calling him a few times to wish him well on his 100th Test. Just hung up on me. Sent him a message, no reply. Such is the respect we get from former cricketers,” The former India spinner wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Meanwhile, in IPL 2024, Chennai Super Kings head coach Stephen Fleming praised Rachin Ravindra for his “very encouraging performance” on his debut against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

CSK will play its second match of the season against last year’s finalists GT at its home ground, MA Chidambaram Stadium. The five-time champions won the first match against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by six wickets.

Fleming claims hitting coach Michael Hussey is working on a plan and management is encouraging players to do what they want to do.

“He sticks to his game and part of introducing players to the team is trying to make them as comfortable as possible. Mike Hussey works mainly around planning and we just encourage players to do what they would do in a normal environment, whether it’s CSK Fleming was quoted as saying: “Whether it’s New Zealand or South Africa, wherever you are, try to play in a similar way and do the same things they do for the national team. “

The former Blackcaps skipper further praised Lachin for how well he performed in the last game. The opener scored 37 runs in just 15 balls with the help of 3 fours and 3 sixes.

“That’s what happened with Lachin. He played very well. Everyone was nervous in the first game, even some of the experienced players. So, it was really nerve-wracking to be able to perform like this.” People are inspiring,” the former New Zealand cricketer added.
