Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels said on Monday they had attacked two U.S. ships in the Gulf of Aden, after maritime agencies reported two attacks on a U.S. ship in the Gulf of Aden.

The rebel statement said the Houthi navy used missiles to target “two U.S. ships in the Gulf of Aden. The first was the ‘Sea Champion’ and the other was the ‘Navy Fortuna’.”
