Police started an investigation after cutting a four -year -old girl on a river pavement after cutting a four -year -old girl.
The Greater Manchester Police said the girl was on a pavement by the Ill River in the Karsal area of Sailford, when the attack took place between 2 to 3 pm on Saturday.
It is understood that the girl did not maintain serious injuries.
The force is now appealing for more information after the attack and has asked anyone to contact with any information.
A spokesperson of the Greater Manchester Police said: “We are appealing for information after an incident, in which an XL Bully saw a four -year -old child cutting on the pavement of the Ill River between 2 to 3 pm on Saturday 19 July.
“Thankfully there was no serious injury.”
