Xiaomi Mi 14 Lite to be launched in India soon

Xiaomi Mi 14 Lite may be launched in India soon. The model is said to join the Mi 14 and Mi 14 Ultra phones launched in China earlier this month. Mi 14 Lite is expected to succeed Xiaomi 13 Lite. However, the previous model was not launched in India. The last smartphone called Lite launched by the company in India was the 2021 Mi 11 Lite. However, a new Xiaomi phone has reportedly now appeared on the Indian certification website, said to be the Mi 14 Lite.

The model may be launched in the country as “Xiaomi 14 Lite”. The report adds that it could be a rebranded version of another alleged phone, the Xiaomi Civi 4.

Xiaomi Civi 4 is expected to succeed Xiaomi Civic 3, expected to launch in China soon. It was recently discovered on the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology certification website, with model number 24053PY09C. Since the Civi model was rebranded as the Lite version globally, the Xiaomi Civi 4 may be launched outside China with minor tweaks and called the Mi 14 Lite.

Xiaomi’s Civi 4 is said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 90W wired fast charging. The phone is expected to feature a 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a Leica-tuned camera system. As a rebranded version of Civi 4, Xiaomi Mi 14 Lite may launch with similar specifications.

Notably, Xiaomi Civi 3 comes with MediaTek Dimensity 8200 5G SoC, 4,500mAh battery (supports 67W wired fast charging), 6.55-inch 120Hz Full HD+ OLED display, 50MP triple rear camera system and dual 32MP front-facing cameras Camera.
