The FBI secretly obtained phone records from nine Republican members of the Congress, including eight seated senators, which have been revealed by a bombel document, under the biden administration as part of the 2020 election medaling “Arctic Frost” investigation.
The specific reasons for the FBI spying of the sitting MPs are not clear. The document revealing the effort of espionage was recently handed over to MPs and the Senate Judicial Committee Chairman Chak Grassley (R-Ayova) released it to the public on Monday.
Grassley said in a statement, “Depending on the Arctic Frost and evidence of the related weapons by the federal law enforcement under the biden, it was certainly defective compared to the watergate.”
“Everything I have exposed today is a disturbed and derogatory political conduct by the Biden FBI. The FBI action was an unconstitutional violation, and Attorney General Bandy and director Patel need to be held accountable to those involved in this serious wrongdoing.
On Monday, Grassley publicly released a document called “Cast Assistance” on 27 September 2023, which refers to the Bureau’s Cellular Analysis Team. The document claimed that the bureau did “initial toll analysis on limited toll records”.
The case ID of a lightly redacted document is labeled, “Arctic Frost- Election Law Affairs- Sensitive Search- SCACT.”
Johnson told reporters that FBI director Kash Patel’s team discovered the document after an attempt to recur an employee for the bureau’s cast system. The senators were adamant on why they did not know why they were targeted by the bureau.
