Working with the BJP is like shaking hands with Aurangzeb Afzal Khan… Sanjay Raut on meeting Amit Shah

During the Maharashtra assembly election campaign, Shiv Sena UBT leader Sanjay Raut termed the news of his meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah as a ridiculous story. The MP said that working with the PPP was like joining hands with Aurangzeb and Afzal Khan. Surprisingly, Congressional leaders have also made such claims.

Raut further said that Shiv Sena is just struggling. These people (BJP) have put our leaders in jail. Our party has collapsed and our government has been overthrown. They also stole our party’s logo. More importantly, he handed Maharashtra into the hands of traitors. We struggle with this pain all the time.

Discussions intensify about political corridor meetings

There was a lot of talk in Maharashtra political circles about Sanjay Raut’s meeting with Amit Shah in Delhi during the election campaign in the state. This meeting is completely confidential. Even the leaders of the parties involved in Maha Vikas Aghadi did not shy away from mentioning the meeting behind their backs, albeit not publicly. Seeing all these discussions, Sanjay Raut himself came out and called the meeting a rumour.

Before Sanjay Raut, Maharashtra Congress president Nana Patole also gave a strong reaction. Patole called the meeting between Amit Shah and Sanjay Raut a rumour, and said the BJP was deliberately spreading such news. This is pure kite flying.

Seat Sharing Issues at Mahavikas Aghadi

Even days after the date for the assembly elections in the state was announced, Maha Vikas Aghadi’s seat-sharing agreement has yet to be finalized. There are rumors of a fight between the Congress and Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena UBT on some seats in Vidarbha. Therefore, there will be another meeting between Shiv Sena, UBT, Sharad Pawar, NCP and Congress leaders on Tuesday.

Sanjay Raut met Sharad Pawar ahead of tomorrow’s meeting. Anil Desai was also present. Earlier on Sunday, Aditya Thackeray and Anil Parab met Sharad Pawar. After this, Sharad leader Jayant Patil came to Matoshree in the evening.
